2009 Wah Hoo!!

So it's 2009. We have a new president, lesbians have taken prime time, plaid is cool and I'm listening to Barry Manilow...the world is at peace...at least as my eyes see it.

Thank goodness America is getting "sexy back"!!

Remember when it was cool to pay too much for everything? I can't wait to tell my kids that.

I have to admit, I wasn't on the OBAMA train for some time. I was bitter, jaded and jilted... towards any political leader. I was ready to write in "Dr. Suess" for president. I was just looking for someone to love our country again.

But, my opinion has since changed...

I believe that something great is coming, and that my generation will indeed be a part of it. I'm not sure if it will be our president elect or the people that follow him...but I do know something is about to change (for the better). The United States, as I know it and as you know it...is going to mean something again!!

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America".

GO AMERICA!!

PS: And I personally thank God and the U.S. for sports, reality TV, ice cream...and, well...beer.
